God I love Democrats. We are never EVER boring... Or "Good one, Mr Kerry"

I'm wondering about Drudge right about now. He's 99% sleeze, of course. But if this plays out the way it looks, then he might have done us a favor by spilling the beans on Kerry early. I'd heard mumbles and innuendo--never publicized--about Kerry for a couple of months. This dates back to just before the Comeback Kerry resurgence.

I think it's pretty clear that Time & the other media were actually sitting on this story until after Kerry was nominated (or maybe while he was being nominated for maximum damage). This would help who? Oh, you know who. I'm not abandoning my notorious distrust of all conspiracy talk. I don't think they intended to help Bush's reelection. I just think that culturally big news outlets just happen to love killing people (not literally, of course, but in ways similar to how they "killed" Clinton).

And who couldn't love the drama of it all? Once again We the People get to chose between a Democrat who detests his marriage vows and a Republican who detests Freedom and Liberty. Not a tough choice for me, but then again I don't consider God a kind of king.

On the other hoof, this may just turn out to be another truthless smear. I have a hard time picturing so butt ugly a man as John Kerry ever getting laid, much less by someone who didn't have to.

Oh my gay-friendly-but-technically-straight-just-don't-call-me-metro-nuthin' stars

Women like power. :)

2. on further reflection
It also occurs to me that the story is all BS, of course. But the real interesting possibility is that Clinton may have done for Kerry what Hart did for Clinton. That is, if a candidate having smoked some pot turned out not to be such a big deal, then maybe this scandal--again, only if it pans out--may do the same for infidelity.

That is, maybe, just maybe, Kerry did it, but most of hte voters are gonna go "Dang, what a jerk. Oh, and that lov-e-ly Teresa is so good to put up with him. Well, he can't be all bad and at least he won't start wars for oil." and then vote for his ugly ass.

Extramarital affairs could be the new pot (just like celebrity butt cracks are the new cleavage.)

(important addendum: since generating this post, I have done research and discoverd that butt cracks were last year's new cleavage. The NEW new cleavage appears to be women's tummies. Oh, I just can't keep up)
