why are they playing nice with Goodling?
subpeonead her ass. If she fails to show up, contempt of Congress.
Right now she is still on the people's payroll and I for one do not approve.

What if they simply say no? Frankly, I don't like at all the citing of this by one of the committees (I skimmed the document on the muckraker web site) saying to her lawyer, why won't your client come, is she really afraid of being prosecuted by the DoJ for telling the truth? God. No wonder Toensing says that this'll take years to fight out.

Congress has public support on this. But she's a woman, and she can very easily play the role of the poor victim up against the towering power of Congress.
