Mitt Romney - Perhaps More Dangerous Than You Think
Remember when John Kerry was getting creamed in the pre-2004-primary polls? When he looked like a sad, sick joke? All of the sudden, he was the Democratic candidate - it happened in days, perhaps weeks.

Today's news that my former Governor is the #1 Rethuglican fundraiser last quarter reminds me of just how dangerous Romney is-
1. He'll say anything - absolutely anything - to anyone to get elected
2. He's got a lot of money - and he can get a lot more
3. He looks and sounds convincing
4. He's 40 times smarter than Bush
5. He is as duplicitous and evil as human beings come

Consider that Romney was able to fool the people of my good state - as liberal a bunch as exist in the US - that he should be our Governor. He promptly did what he could to slice funding from the most vulnerable in our state, and soon fled the state to run for President, only returning once a week or so for a photo op to bash homosexuals, usually flanked by the few thugs we have in Massachusetts.

Don't be too comforted by his abysmal showing in the polls - we've got a long way to go, and things can change quickly.

1. Romney could be the nominee but he won't win the general
election and that's why i'm not concerned with Romney/Bush

I think Rudy will get the nom because he can actually win the General election, and Repubs only care about winning.

2. Don't forget something else about our man mitt - he's apparently joined
at the hip to jeb bush. He's already indicated that jeb's on his short list of possible running mates. jeb has talked him up, quite a bit, and more or less given him an endorsement, and has already funneled a number of his supporters and former staffers to romney's campaign. Our friend jebbie is a SIGNATORY of the PNAC. Except he's a lot slicker than his idiot brother, and probably substantially more would be snuck through before anybody realized it. When you think mitt romney, you MUST also think jeb bush, because jeb would be a HUGE part of his campaign and, perish the thought, his administration. And romney thinks highly of ol' jebbie, so a LOT of jeb's ideas would make it into romney policy. He'd have a colossal amount of influence if romney got in, and he COULD very well be VP. GAWD, I don't even like the thought of it.

3. All we need is to play the South Park "Mormon" episode in an endless loop.
Hell, his primary opponents will probably do just that.
