Nancy Pelosi Is Looking More Presidential By The Day.....
I saw her giving comments from Lebanon this a.m. and now she's on her way to Syria.

I kind of wish she was wanting to be the first woman president instead of Hillary.

Since Nancy became Speaker - she has made a difference.

1. Pelosi looked VERY presidential next to Dubya this past week.
Her bearing compared with his... wow. A major contrast.

6. Rather have her speak for US than Condi

Condi can't even begin to represent us.

Chimp W can't form a simple sentence and he is allowed to "speak" for the USA on a daily basis.

8. Oh, Pelosi's got the steel. No question.
Condoleezza Rice's testimony to the 9/11 Commission was embarrassing. She tried to run out the clock so she wouldn't have to answer any question in a substantive way. Several of the commissioners called her on it and she just kept whirling and swirling. She left a very negative impression on them, and on the public.

Pelosi is direct and forceful and clear.

I like her a lot.

16. No offense to Madame Speaker, but...
I really think that even my dog would look presidential next to the current buffoon-in-chief. :eyes:

22. Granted, most pooches would make presidents than Dubya.
I loved one DUer's comment on Pelosi's comment this past week, to the effect of "Calm down, there's a new Congress in town" -- paraphrased, it was "Granda's got a rolling pin in her hand." I love that.

Pelosi is leaving her mark. And I don't think she's done yet, either.

2. If she could convince me she is a defender
of the constitution, I could consider it, but that hasn't happened.

23. In other words,
you support "impeachment is off the table"? Never does one claim that one of their duties is "off the table" before they take office.

bridges and alliances, gaining experience. I can only hope!

9. I don't think she can--looks like a coup or power grab. Other congressmen
would have to start the ball rolling.

13. I have no problem with her being speaker for the next thirty years.
I do giggle a bit, however, thinking of her going toe to toe and head to head with Hillary.

14. I was struck with a flash of an image of
Pelosi speaking behind a podium with the presidential seal on it a while ago.

Dunno how it can happen. Just know it can.

Please consider visualizing or perhaps photoshopping this image and let's may be make it so with our hearts and minds.

She's really impressive despite her table setting proclivities.

I retain my faith in the process. Nancy Pelosi will be president by Christmas.

thought as you Jack Rabbit. Right from the moment she became House Speaker, my thought was she could very well become our next President. I for one would welcome her over Hillary!

She seems like she'd be a wonderful parent, similar to JFK and FDR.
Could you imagine having FDR as your father?
