Repig platform for '04: Kerry's "Infidelity"; Janet's Boob; Gay Marriage
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 12:27 PM by stopbush
Whoomp, there it is! Got it?

That's it. That's what the repigs will run on this year. Forget illegal wars, dead economies, exploding debt, bush's assault on the environment etc. Once again, it's all about "evil" sex and sexuality. I half expect them to start the rumors that Kerry was in a gay marriage with Janet's brother. Be very afraid - the gay folks want to rape your male children and Kerry will make it the law of the land!

And 80% of Americans are ignorant enough to believe it.

Note to Dems: start dredging up the dirt on the repigs NOW! Forget the high road, for it leads to defeat. ANY dirt on bush, cheney, the exec cabal and repig members of Congress is fair game.

Fight fire with fire.

3. Tom Delay at Hooter's... great ad!
We should show that one to the Re-nuckleheads.
He has Hooter's receipts on his expenses. With all their pious whining and bible beating.
And, gunning for those poor women who had to have an abortion..while their out whoopin it up at stripper bars and tame T/A joints.

4. hum
id imagine youd find more americans who cared about the infedelity than than the gay marriage or janets breast.

we as a nation seem to really care whether or not someone has been faithful after their commitment to marriage.
clinton got crucified about it, and so did my states last governor. people do care about that in this country, as fortunate or unfortunate as that mite be.

5. 43% of marriages in America end in divorce.
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 12:58 PM by stopbush
And born-agains divorce at a much higher rate than atheists.

Most sexually abused children are attacked by their straight relatives - pedophilia has nothing to do with homosexuality.

We're a nation of ego-centric, self-righteous, ignorant hypocrites.

6. Best Evidence that they Don't have anything serious on Kerry

is these stupid rumors that mean nothing unless Dems decide to make
something of it.

11. Desperately trying to hold base of Fundies who equate sex with SIN.
I've wondered why the Fundies don't embrace their al-Qa'ida brethren who hold the same values:

Sex= worldly sin
Violence= divine justice

7. No, people will not buy it.
Trust me. People care about losing their jobs and having money.

If jobs weren't hemorrhaging to Third World countries, if people had their 401-K's and savings, the RW could win with their stupid puritanical issues. Sure, people have been whining about Janet's boob and gay marriage. My mom has been as well. (It bothers me to no end.) But she won't vote for Bush, even though she is rabidly pro-life. My younger brother can't find work, I was laid off, friends of hers have been laid off...that's what she cares about right now. And I'm sure most people feel the same way.

But not now. People care about their survival and finding a job. This isn't 1998.

10. most people didn't care about Clinton's infidelities.
And many who did, were concerned only with the lying under oath, the potential sexual harassment, etc., rather than the infidelities per se. Most of the US understands what is private is private, even for people in public life, and that humans are humans.

8. I think you're right about the Repigs' priorities.
However, no one has to dig far to get "dirt" on them. Their disastrous policies are topsoil.

12. So basically, all they can do is talk about sex
and how bad sex outside of marriage is. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
