I Just Had A Thought - It Sucks to Be Kyle
Edited on Thu Mar-29-07 11:15 PM by MannyGoldstein
OK, so:

1. You've announced to the world that you tried to fire Pat Fitzgerald, the most fearsome and tenacious federal prosecuter in existence, for being incompetent.
2. More than 100 times you said "I don't remember" when asked awkward questions under oath.
3. A fellow named Scooter is goin' to the Big House for saying "I don't remember" under oath - and Fitz got the collar.

I'm thinkin' that Kyle's gonna be havin' nightmares about Fitz.

1. The ultimate irony would be Fitz in charge of an obstruction investigation....
related to this mess.

5. If he wasn't such a smarmy little weasel I might have a
tiny bit of compassion, but as it is, I hope his cellmate is big, mean, and has an insatiable appetite for pasty nerds.

3. He's a kid put in charge of U.S.A. attorneys
because he had the "far right" credentials.

4. And loyal, NAIVE kids make such great stooges for the creeps in charge of policy
Like the corporatists, they know if they dangle pretty carrots in front of ambitious, but somewhat naive kids, they can turn some of them into hired guns who will end up doing dirt then taking the fall.

Dumb schmucks! They are just as expendable to the junta bosses as the troops in Iraq whose blood they turn into gold.

6. I found him really offensive, and loved Senator Whitehouse's questions
You could see how offended Whitehouse was that a guy who graduated from law school two minutes ago who worked at a no name firm in Utah for 2 years, and then prosecuted one (sounds like slam dunk - a felon with a gun) criminal case in Florida is in charge of the careers of all USAs in the country.

Unbelievably incompetent.

9. In his testimony, he mentioned how he had committed to work hard and moved his family
to DC to be part of the administration. Then we know how he wanted to get back to Utah.

This guy would be soooooooooo easy to (quite legally) squeeze to get him to roll over hard on his higher-ups.

10. I look forward to what the Chicago press will do to Kyle
>I'm thinkin' that Kyle's gonna be havin' nightmares about Fitz.<

In the meantime, Kyle, the tall man in the rumpled suit would probably like a few words with you.
