Aren't Republicans the "Pork" masters?!
In light of Bush's reference to pork in the current funding bills for Iraq, why aren't there meaty examples of Republican pork (e.g. the Alaskan bridge to nowhere) being aired? I did notice that while Bush listed the more trivial items in the bills that he did not mention the money slated for Katrina relief... Doesn't want to touch that one.

Where are the Dems on this? Why isn't there some voice out there to rebut the GOP chatter on this? I hear GOP talking points parroted all day long on the news and even got an email from my congressman (R) about it! Shades of Swiftboat silence are scarring me.

What are some good examples of recent GOP Pork Barrel appropriations? There have got to be a bunch. If you know 'em, please list here and provide links.

1. They're all addicted,
regardless of party affiliation. It's easy and guilt-free when you're spending somebody else's money.

3. Probably the answer to your question is that the MSM is forbidden..
to report on such matters, since they are controlled by the White House thru the corporate elite.
