Sampson: All justice is political
Every once in a while, a Bushie carelessly stumbles out of the Spin Zone:

"The distinction between 'political' and 'performance-related' reasons for removing a United States attorney is, in my view, largely artificial," Kyle Sampson, who quit during the furor over the firings, said in testimony for his appearance Thursday, obtained by The Associated Press.

"A U.S. attorney who is unsuccessful from a political perspective ... is unsuccessful," he added.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I'm just a caveman. I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the honking horns of your traffic make me want to get out of my BMW.. and run off into the hills, or wherever... Sometimes when I get a message on my fax machine, I wonder: "Did little demons get inside and type it?" I don't know! My primitive mind can't grasp these concepts. But there is one thing I do know - justice is not supposed to be political.

Hey, the liberal light is always on at the Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy. Please stop by and say "hi!"

1. "So why is the man who killed his children not being prosecuted?"

He raised $25,000 for my re-election campaign. Why? Whats the big deal?

5. So if it's all political
Edited on Thu Mar-29-07 12:23 PM by EC
why do we also call it human rights offenses in other countries? (like all the "political" prisoners in Cuba)

Does it mean that all the opposing party (Dems) can be jailed for not having the right political views?
