1. He and Theresa were on Imus the other day talking about it, too.
It's about "everyday environmentalists"--not famous people, just regular folks who make a difference.

24. Best line when Stewart whined about no pics - It was written for Colbert, not you.
Heh - even Stewart laughed at that one.

4. Stewart took a backhanded swipe at people like Katie Courtic
He didn't mention any names but he made it clear they were jerks.

5. Interesting, at the end of the interview, Kerry seemed a bit too
eager to get out of there. Remember the skit Jon did about Bill Gates getting up, shaking hands and he was out of there? They didn't show a long shot of Kerry, but I sure saw him stand up, shake hands and begine a quick exit. I guess he didn't feel too comfortable.

6. He looked very comfortable throughout the whole thing
I think he just naturally walks fast. They did shake hands and it was clear it was over - then he left.

7. Actually, he looked very comfortable being there.
He and Stewart both seemed like they were having a blast just bantering back and forth. I think there's some mutual respect & admiration there.

8. He seemed pretty damn comfortable to me.
The audience loved him - they went wild when he was introduced. He and Jon were great together. Give the guy a break.

9. Baloney
He also stood up and went over to Jon and it broke away with him still standing there. You sound like MSM making something out of nothing.

11. I sound like the MSM? OH MAN! Give me the bucks those guys get
and I'll admit to anything!

I'm not trying to pick on Kerry, I always pay attention to the little stuff, and I've seen many other guests linger aroung and BS with Jon, Kerry didn't do that, and it just struck me different, that's all.

12. He seemed comfortable during the interview
but you're right about him getting up too soon. A lot of people do this, though. You're supposed to stay seated until the show goes out to commercial, then get up and leave, but often people just get up and leave when the interview is over (like Bill Gates did - except Bill Gates practically ran off the set). It doesn't necessarily mean that he felt uncomfortable, though - he just moved a few seconds too soon.

18. Or he was expected somewhere else?
You may be right that he got up a little bit too early, but many people do that. This does not mean they feel uncomfortable.

21. first he had an extended ovation from the audience
Then he had a good, friendly interview with Stewart who obviously likes him. Why woudn't he feel comfortable? He's a kind of active hyper type who is always in motion. Wish I was, then I'd be as thin as he is.

I saw it at midnight and it was a cool interview. Kerry looked and sounded very relaxed. Stewart sounded informed about the book. And the audience sounded excited also. :kick:

Or even Senator Kerry? :hi:

I always wondered if we had any "famous people" lurking around here.
