Never too soon to start. :)

Feel free to pile on.

5. He can't make up his mind whether to be an actor or a politician
He keeps going back and forth. Politician, then actor, then politician, then actor.

President? hell no. We can just say that he is an old fart who has been on a television set the past four years instead of fighting for the american people.

7. You are correct.
He knew he wasn't going to get elected for a second term and so he said he retired. He went to Law and Order and he stunk there. I couldn't get interested knowing he was a bunch of stuff I haven't watched it since. I saw him on an old Matlock a year or so ago and laughed my butt off.

13. You want to kill him for Repugs point out he supports CFR.
He wanted to go further than McCain on campaign finance reform and actually ban PACS. Not a bad idea but the Repug base hates CFR since they contend that money = speech. It's one of the reasons why McCain is having so much trouble getting support.

Another point is that Thompson is tied to Scooter Libby. I believe he was raising money for Libby's defense fund.

14. Fred Thompson like Ronald Reagan never won an Oscar
...even when he was presenting one:

<snip>
Oscar Glory

As president of the Screen Actors Guild, Ronald Reagan awarded the best picture Oscar at the 1947 Academy Awards. As clips of the best picture nominees rolled, Reagan declared that the footage represented "the glories of our past, the memories of our present, and the inspiration of our future."

Had he bothered to glance up from his cue cards, Reagan might have noticed that, due to a series of technical glitches, the clips were shown backward, upside down, and on the ceiling!

27. Ronald Reagan played a "heavy" in the 1964 version of "The Killers"
...Reagan's last film. He was evil in that role and had the American voters been repeatedly exposed to that film, especially during Reagan's early primaries leading up to the 1980 election, they would have seen through a lot of Reagan's deceit and campaign bullshit. Just dig up all of Fred Thompson's acting roles. That should expose some of his character flaws which can then be used to target his weaknesses.

16. Divorced. Lightweight do nothing Senator. Cannot be elected...
because of his support for the war in Iraq. Supports convicted felon Scooter Libby, B grade actor.

Actually, those last two would help him with the GOP base.
