Tens of thousands march on the Pentagon
Riot Police Block Buses and Deny Access to People Coming to the Demonstration

Congratulations to everyone who made it through the snow and freezing rain to get to Washington and join together in the tens of thousands and March on the Pentagon!

Led by a contingent of Iraq war veterans, active-duty service-members, Gold Star families, and veterans from other past and present wars, the demonstration received a large amount of media coverage.

A message from Appeal for Redress
Active-duty soldiers support the March on the Pentagon

The Appeal For Redress, a campaign led and initiated by active-duty members of the Armed forces, the overwhelming majority being enlisted members, endorse the call by the ANSWER coalition to end the occupation of Iraq and to commit American tax-dollars to human need, not corporate greed. Money for jobs, money for schools, money for health-care, not Imperialist war!
