Louisiana Governor will not seek reelection
Governor Kathleen Blanco, elected in 2003, said yesterday she will not seek a second term. The Governor has taken the brunt of the bad hits due to Katrina (as opposed to NO Mayor Ray Nagin and of course bush who seem relatively teflonesque.)

I would suggest to my friends in Louisiana that you do what you can to keep that little shit bobby jindal from being your next Governor or your kids will be eating ketchup for lunch and you can kiss any pretense of health care reform goodbye. jindall is a good christian in the reagan mold. A favorite of faux news.

1. I will pass on your thoughts to
my Mom & Sister in Metairie. Mom is a loyal Dem, my Sister thinks she is independant and likes to vote for the "person" and sometimes influences Mom to stray from the roots as she thinks a candidate shares her values a bit more.

4. Hi Southern-Belle
We get to your fair city often. We're just across the border in Mississippi. We were in NOLA last Saturday. Went to the Arts Festival in Bywater (third Saturday of every month.) Then strolled the quarter for the 10-millionth time. I truly love the city. Ate at the Country Flame on Iberville. Had a killer Cuban Sandwich. We are looking forward to the French Quarter Fest next month.
