"Pro-war Demonstrators" in front of a memorial?!? Who ARE these people?!?

Pro-war demonstrators carry flags and signs in front of wooden crosses at a hillside memorial in Lafayette, California. US Democrats unveiled a double-pronged attack on President George W. Bush over Iraq Thursday, demanding the withdrawal of all US combat troops from the unpopular war as early as March 2008.(AFP/Getty Images/Justin Sullivan)

How could they?!?

5. Who are they?
Freaks. They think death made a man of those kids.

But no, death just made them...dead.

But then, I tend to take my counsel on war from the vets here and my retired Brig. General friend(Two Bronze Stars with V devices). Rather than freaks.

6. If dead soldiers could talk to them, ..
I went to the Wall in DC to look up a couple of names of guys I knew back then and I had the real feeling that on the hill behind the Wall stood the ghosts of those who's names were on the wall.

They wanted to tell us not to go to war again.

I think those who have never gone to war and who think the troops or the dead are on their side are really only making a show of support for themselves and nothing more. The dead don't want to be cheered they only want to rest in PEACE!

7. so where are the recruiters?
There are some porcine folks in that group who could do with a run or two through Basic Training.
But I'll BET they have the strongest fork-holding arms of anyone in the country. :sarcasm:

10. More: "Pro-troop demonstrators" vs. "anti-war activists"

During a rally in Lafayette, Calif., pro-troop demonstrators planted a banner and flag in front of a hillside where anti-war activists have erected hundreds of crosses to represent soldiers killed in Iraq on Thursday, March 8, 2007. In the background, a group of about 15 anti-war activists stand amidst the crosses. The pro-troop protesters, including members of the 'These Colors Dont Run caravan, say the anti-war installation insults the lives of soldiers who have died during the war.(AP Photo/Noah Berger)
