I honestly can't think of one positive thing that has come from this administration in the past six years. These are the biggest f*** ups ever to run a government.

1. Umm....Abe Lincoln? Preserved the union? Ended slavery? since then, though..
...the GOP has had a long drought as far as getting anything right.
Oh, wait. Eisenhower -- the interstate freeway system was kind of his pet project.

that's all I can think of....

2. I'd like to be the first to cite the Do-Not-Call List
It's the classic example whenever I'm asked for something Bush did that I liked.

10. Yeah, but will it really have monumental impact
It's not like, providing Universal Health Care or balancing the budget. Plus I'm still getting calls. But in the interest of fairness the calls have decreased so thanks Bush for this grand achievement.

7. I got no arguement with that
But compared to what the EPA did at 911 NYC, I felt I needed to credit even a vampire like Dick.

I look forward to the day when I can look out at the EPA building a few blocks away and be proud of it.

6. This is what I tell every smug Republican I meet.
Repubs, even to this day-will come at you like they are on top and know everything.

My response is "Come back to me with that attitude when you can get something right-anything- just one little thing right- be it war, the economy, disaster response, little boy interns-whatever- please, get something right- THEN come to me and tell me how silly I am."

8. Well, they really screwed it up, but the drug plan for seniors is
helping a lot of poor folks on fixed incoms who had to pay the total cost of their meds before that program.

12. Once again they screwed this up too
Did you see what the comptroller of the US said on 60 minutes? Something to the effect it will be one of the biggest policy blunders ever. We are going bankrupt and part D will make things much worse. We would have been better off negotiating w/ Pharm companies or spending the money on Universal Health Care.

That's the last thing I remember (really it's the only thing that comes to mind), and he took a lot of flack from other pubes for it.

19. Eisenhower was no friend to blacks, but he took the Constitution and
Laws of this nation seriously. He was the last true Consevative president this nation has seen.

There was the Interstate System, because he saw what the Autobahn had done for mobility in Germany; and w/that came infrastructure, building of bridges and other necesities for a truly industrial society.

I'm not sure if it was Little Rock, I thought those were Federal Marshals...he sent the 101st to protect some kids going to HS I believe, not sure where though.
