Edited on Wed Feb-11-04 02:22 PM by BurtWorm
Not sure if you heard of it:

S.2382

Title: A bill to provide for the liquidation or reliquidation of certain entries of tomato sauce preparation.

Sponsor: Sen Kerry, John F. (introduced 4/29/2002)

3. I wasn't planning on boycotting anything
But now that you mention it, Vermont syrup might be a good place to start.

Or maybe Vermont Teddy Bears. The old ball & chain will have to do with a blender this Valentines day. :)

Besides, Heinz is his wife, what are you, woman haters?

Dean people are going to stroke out en masses when he blows the Wsiconsin primary.

if you come to visit me and you want it - bring your own. Just don't put it on the steak.

that's just a non-political preference, however.

I'll suck it up and put Heinze catsup on my fries. As a relative, I make money when Terry makes money. Which I will give to the anti-President Kerry progressive activists.

"Ketchup" is the only true spelling. Everyone knows that "catsup" is a PNAC stooge. In fact, "CAtsuP" contains 75% of the letters in PNAC. :tinfoilhat:

No offense to Mrs Kerry, but I'm really cheap and always buy the store brnds since its the same stuff with a lower price.

I'm not a big ketchup fan and my son couldn't care less which brand it is.

36. Generic brands are either Hunt's or Heinz.
Just like Sears appliances are made by other 'brand' companies. When I toured the Kellogg's factory in Battle Creek I watched them package their cereal into generic boxes for distribution.

So, by boycotting Heinz and buying generic catsup, you are either supporting the Heinz family or the Hunt family (big BFEE supporters)... but you don't get to choose which family you're supporting when you buy generic catsup. You can't be sure which company has made the catsup you're buying. It's a gamble.

Personally, I won't take the chance on supporting the Hunt family.

I've boycotted Heinz ever since they came out with the following Catsup fads: Flavored and Colored. I'm sorry, but ketchup should never be any color but red and it should only taste like really sugary tomatoes. Thanks.
