He is way "clean," while critics can throw all kinds of stuff at Hillary...It is almost not fair.

Clinton, Obama trade barbs over donor

1. When Obama has been in the trenches for 16 years...
Attacked with every conceivable political slur...we'll see how he looks then...

May not look clean...but he will look tough...I'd rather have the latter!!!

9. Obama is a shooting star not a rising star..
His talent lies in preaching, not politics. He does want to do good for the World
but I don't think his personality is attuned to the rough and tumble of politics.

It may not be worth the trip for him in the long run.
I'm sure he's already feeling the pangs of buyers remorse.

3. You think Obama won't be attacked?
He's never been through the wringer of a national campaign.

5. The problem is that Obama's negatives, right now, are ones that
people tend to accept. He is inexperienced - everyone is a some point in their lives. He is a smoker - he's trying to quit. His plans and proposals have holes in them - well, they can be filled out as things develop.

He just doesn't have a huge public record to defend. But I have criticisms of him: he is too middle of the road and he plays the "Christian" card to hard at times (but that is just me)...

7. Have you missed all of the media hits on Obama?
They've certainly been plentiful- and quite creative! I was especially impressed with the one in which a poster with Obama's photo mysteriously showed up in the middle of a segment about some pedophile- that little gem was courtesy of Fox, of course.

Why do you think that practically every time there is a conversation about him (or 2008 candidates in general) on Washington Journal, some idiot calls in and voices their concern that he is Muslim, recently converted from Islam, attended a terrorist training school, changed his name from Mohammed , etc?

Those kinds of misconceptions sure as hell aren't the result of the media being too kind to Obama.

10. So, it wouldn't surprise you if he drops out?
He just might. He doesn't like whats going on already. The prospect
of facing two more years of sliming isn't going to play well in his playbook.

he's thinking of his family and how the attacks haven't even begun from the RW,
save for a few dem soft balls across his bow...

I'm just sayin..

13. Barring some early primary losses, Obama isn't going to drop out
He knows what he's getting into and how to respond to it.

My point was that Obama has already been attacked pretty insidiously by the media- and I wouldn't by any stretch of the imagination consider some of those attacks "soft balls".

Hell, some of the stuff that's been implied about him makes Libby look like a choir boy by comparison.

14. An an Obama supporter, if he does or says things I disagree on...
...I will most certainly point it out and allow there to be a discussion about the issues involved.

It's just that he doesn't say things like "I support terrorism more than certain other candidates..." or want to make flag burning a federal crime...

If he said that crap, I'd be very disappointed. But I remain confident that he's not a finger in the wind panderer who expects zero criticism...

15. What is the latest news on Obama's real-estate purchase
in Chicago? I am expecting the HRC staff has a lot of
info on this and expect it to hit the fan sometime before
Iowa & NH.

16. I hope they bring it up
I mean, I want Hillary and Obama to go at it. Let the best candidate win. I'm betting on Obama all the way, though.
