A Dean supporter thanks Clark for running.
Having a four star general run on the Democratic platform was a tremendous boost to our side. A lot of people need to see that Democrats are NOT anti-military or anti-security, and Clark provided a living example for which no amount of rhetoric could have substituted.

He indirectly brought AWOL's lack of a war record into sharp relief, and he got a lot of non-liberals looking favorably at the Democratic party.

A classy campaigner that stuck it to the chimp.

Thank you, General! Hope to see you as VP or in a cabinet position.

6. These guys were all bright stars imo
I look at the bright side. Before we started we were scratching our heads and looking around, wondering who could possibily be formidable opposition to Bush. The result was that we came up with several who would have made great candidates, may be great candidates in the future, maybe a veep and certainly some cabinet material. Not too shabby and a future with quality leadership! Really - Who could ask for more?

11. I agree
I was looking forward to one more debate...hopefully with just Kerry, Clark, Edwards and Dean. Something for every independent voter out there!

7. General Announcement Today
Unless I hear it from the General's mouth, it is not sure.
The media has told us that, not the candidate.

10. I agree and I'm unhappy that he's dropping out
My Mom, a bushbot* trying to reform, admitted that she voted for him in the primary yesterday. About a week ago she overheard my spouse and me say that we were going to split our votes to 1-Dean and 1-Clark. It's hard to explain, but the look on her face changed and I had a feeling that she might vote for Clark then. Right now I don't think that she'll vote for the current frontrunner. Time will tell.
