Would you say that there is a better or worse chance that Gore will run than, say,

three months ago?

Some people sound as if they think Gore's campaign is coming to a close- like the chance that he is going to run is getting smaller. I think it's because Sens. Clinton & Obama are already in.

Yet, his "campaign" against global warming, and it is getting enormous, is growing. He's been nominated for an Oscar, a Nobel Prize, and now it looks like a MASSIVE, worldwide concert is going to go off as a benefit for the issue. And he's going to be going back to the broader platform he had before the campaign, as well. His new book, coming out in May, addresses the political and cultural dysfunction of our country. His past campaign consultants are meeting to discuss another run, and the media is still constantly asking him about it.

Given all this, I'd have to say that if there was ever a chance that Gore was going to run, it has only gotten bigger since. In fact, it seems to me that he is truly already running- a guerilla campaign, one might say. He has created a helluva buzz.

1. I don't see it either way
I don't see it better or worse for Gore. Personally, I think his time has passed.

I'd love to see a new face emerge who doesn't have any losing baggage, per se.

2. He won the 2000 election, and the popular vote.
For real.

3. Teevee said
they didn't think all those "draft Gore" people would have traveled to that conference in Boston yesterday(?) if there were not a really good chance that he will run. :bounce:

5. He's not going to run
He said he can't envision a circumstance right now in which he would. Sounds like a no to me.

6. He has said that many times before.
Is this changing your mind?

7. I think he loves
his life at the moment and he is certainly making the best of it for all our sakes. I also believe he has personal reasons for not wanting to take on Hillary. If he gets an Oscar or the Nobel it will further reinforce his reasons for continuing the "campaign" against global warming.
