3. The breaking news was about the Border Patrol guards!
and the fact that two "congress critters" were lied to by an official of the Homeland security, therefore the guards were found guilty!!

6. Others have gone to prison for lying to congress about less
important matters! I'm really afraid this was all done for political reasons, and our fear of this Admin. is proving to be justified!

11. I Like Dobbs
He's one of the few out there in the media that puts USA middle class interests ahead of the partisans. He'll hammer both parties unambiguously.

12. He sometimes says some things that piss me off...
but overall he has been bringing the necessary things to lite and is not afraid of the Bush Administration, just like Olberman. He was critical of the Plane thing today, I thing the Speaker deserves a plane, after all she is third in line...

17. I'm with you, Tridem
Everybody who yells and screams and rails against corporate America isn't necessarily on our side.

He's just a modern day Howard Beale.

15. Happy days are here again for Lou
Thigh-rubbing good times ginning up a fake controversy over the House Speaker's mode of travel. But in straining out this gnat, Lou and his media brethren swallow whole elephants in overlooking all sorts of Republican waste, corruption and general stinkiness.

2. I think it is disgusting that no Democrats have called for
these guys' pardon. Can they not see that this is another example of the DOJ prosecuting for political motives?

Can anyone explain why * has pardoned so many drug smugglers? D'yah think maybe the CIA is running drugs again?

9. I just read that thread from last night.
Although it was stated over and over again on that thread that the 2 border agents did something wrong by shooting someone no one mentioned that the person they shot was doing something wrong by just being where he was. He was in the US illegally. If he had not been here illegally the officers wouldn't have had to do what they did. It seems to be OK for an illegal to do something wrong but not for the border agents.

13. Dobbs is GOP all the way. He may be "old line"
GOP which is why he emphasizes the "fiscally conservative" viewpoint but he is a GOP propagandist all the way and has carried water for the RNC consistently... most recently on the Pelosi airplane story. He should have known (and did know) better but trumpeted it long and loudly anyway to give his party some political hay.

They certainly haven't since I've been on this Earth.

18. In the 1950's.
Eisenhower signed a few balanced budgets back then. The top marginal income tax rate was 90% back then, though.
