2. Screw that...
... he'd make one hell of a PRESIDENT.

Much better than any other candidate running.

Why would we want our best candidate to be second fiddle?

The AWOL story will be dead in a couple weeks, folks. The "war veteran" credential will work for Kerry like it worked for Dole.

Middle America is not interested in that... or won't be in a few weeks. The only people who care about AWOL issue are those like us who already can't stand Bush and would never vote for him anyway. It's an issue that is firing up both bases, but the middle couldn't care less.

We need a positive, Clintonian, man-from-hope message. We already have the Bush haters (US!). We need to bring in the rest of the people.

John Edwards is STILL our best bet. Let's not screw it up, folks.

4. amen to that brother !
Kerry's past is catching up to him more quickly than I thought the GOP would allow.

I can't say I ever expected the Kerry thing but I knew Edwards would rise to the surface just in time and damned if its not unfolding !

3. I don't think Kerry has any choice to but take him as VP
And I think that's why he's staying in the race. He's young, Southern, good-looking, and will be experienced enough to move up in eight years if Hillary isn't interested.

7. Why would Kerry or anyone for that matter chose Edwards...
We need a state folks, and I don't think Edwards can deliver North Carolina.

9. the winning ticket is Kerry/Clark . . .
you may not like it, but thier military background means a great deal to a great many voters . . . and there's no hiding one indisputable fact: when it came to serving their country in combat, they went, and Bush didn't . . .
