12. I doubt that the poster who asked the question would support Hillary
under any circumstances. However, it would be a big plus for sincere DUers to listen and learn form Hill's address today.

20. Well, that poster needs food for thought.
His heart was obviously set on one candidate who's decision not to run was a disappointment.
When he's ready to raise his awareness of what is at stake, and what our candidates have to offer, hopefully he'll vote for the whoever wins the Democratic nomination.

I'm of the thinking, the strongest candidate with the best plan for our future will be the nominee.
It's way too early in the game to assess one candidate against another. Whats more, I refuse to bash one dem against another. I am content to sit back and listen to what each one has to say and make a final decision at the end of 08'..

Today, Hillary's appearance has exceeded my expectations and is the beginning of the contrast and compare model used for future reference.

There she goes," STOP the subsidies of Big OIL"..."STOP CO2 Emissions.." She's hitting the ball outta the Park.

...that's created the need for many more such hospitals in Iraq, now doesn't it?

maybe when she takes on the thugs in the Senate she chooses to be firm and uncompromising. Which is understandable.

This is a Hillary we've never seen or known before.

She is thrilling!

24. She's a very formidable candidate.
Even though I have my candidate I'm supporting, I don't underestimate her. It seems a lot of people on DU underestimate her. They're forgetting that she knows how to fight back against the republic party and their vicious attacks.

She's tough and like she said, she's in it to WIN.

it would have been the topic for another parody of hers by Saturday Night Live.

C-SPAN pulled the plug on the mass antiwar rally in Washington to cover Hillary, how pathetic!

Edited on Sat Jan-27-07 03:23 PM by The Ghost
I was waiting for this event all morning, as I was anxious to see her first campaign event, and see if she was able to charm the crowd, connect with them, talk seriously, off the cuff, as i knew she could, and she sure did. It just bugs me the haters on DU toward Hillary. She's personable and charming when need be, with the average person, and shes tough as nails when she needs to be, with everyone else. I just wish all the haters would watch something like this and give her a chance. Shes gonna do great in these debates upcoming. And imagine her in the general election debates against the corpse McCain? Bright days ahead ....
