1. Perhaps it is not the 100,000+ rest of us DUers,
perhaps it is your idea. Could this be a possibility?

2. Do You Mean It Has Already Been Proposed
and I am late to say it? That is a possibility, since many here are on the same track and someimes even ahead of me.

3. It's a snarky proposal that's abstract & can't be implemented. I get it.

You give in too easily. You would have never made it in the Bush, we can own the world, administration.

Seriously, my idea has a lot of merit. At least in my opinion.

7. I agree, that in your opinion, it holds merit.
we do not all share your opinion.

your idea, while in the abstract barely makes the point it intends, in reality would be dismissed out of hand as ridiculous and frivolous and never see the light of day.

so.....merit? as a rhetorical point, ok.

10. Thanks For Agreeing That My Opinion Is Valid To Me
Can you elaborate on why is it is ridiculous an frivolous? I do agree that it will never see the light of day.

14. I said it would be dismissed as ridiculous and frivolous, implying OTHERS
would find it so.

11. That's what they said about giving women the right to vote
it was a frivolous idea, it was dismissed out of hand, ridiculous, it would never see the light of day.
Not only did they get the right to vote, they got the right to be sent to the front lines.
Why not corporations?

13. You hit that one right on the head.
It really is time to think of practical and do-able ideas which have broad support from Americans and would actually be impemented. Otherwise, why not simply call on aliens from another planet to simply beam up the neocons?

6. I missed that thread
a lot of people don't know that corporations are people, too.
There was somebody a few years ago trying to marry a corporation.
I think it was one of the RTMark people.
