Anyone Else Think A Preemptive Impeachment Is In Order?
I think that the chimp has made his intentions to attack Iran quite clear. We all know that * has WMDs at his command and is itching to use them. Therefore, I propose that in order to protect the EARTH an Impeachment is in order.

2. Nah - takes too long
There is an amendment to the constitution that provides for the removal by Congress of the chief executive if his/her incapacity to perform the job is determined.

3. Preemtive Removal Then
I'll go for that. And I do realize that it is not really preemptive given that he has already done enoungh to warrant such but I just love the irony of calling it preemptive.

5. Too Late For Preemption
He's already commited several very impeachable acts - violating the Fourth Amendment and so forth. And he's admitted it, so no investigation is needed.

7. You mean a SURGE is needed for impeachment ?
That is the only way to stop the mis-adventures of the
commander-in-chief.

8. Very good! I'm starting to think IMPEACHMENT is possibly our only
way out at this point. This guy is a ROGUE. A loose cannon. Spoiling for ANOTHER fight when we're already up to our eyeballs in a monster one we can't get out of.

10. There Is Always "Drag And Drop"
Drag them out of the White House and drop them in Iraq.

11. I keep seeing images in my mind about crowds with torches and
pitchforks surrounding the White House...

I think it might be nice to offer them all an opportunity to "play war" for real. After all, the poor dears missed their big chance to be real "GI Joes" during Vietnam.

12. And He Is Practically Begging For It
Perhaps we should acquiesce to him in this instance.

13. Exactly, only ONE commander in chief per constitution and dems can't
or won't stop funding for the troops for fear of being
labeled as non-supportive of trhe troops.

Even if impeachment does not succeed, just mucking it up
with articles of impeachment will divert the decider's
attention away from Iran.

9. Not At All
We Have Enough to Impeach and convict already. I just liked the terminology and thought it would drive Freepers crazy.

14. Not "pre-emptive." The Constution is being tortured. Impeachment is the ONLY way to rescue it. (nt)

15. I have no doubt...
Evidence is being gathered and organized as we speak. The evidence will be overwhelming to the extent impeachment votes will approach unanimous levels. Dems have been planning and organizing their case for quite some time. We're now seeing the plan take it's course....it's happening.
