Suppose to announce on Sunday he intends to run. it's about time another Governor inters the race. i think there will be at least one more Governor who throws there hat in the 08 election on our side.Richardson is impressive i will say that.as for his chances i think he has a leg up on these tired old senators http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=2808824

2. lots to choose from
not an easy decision. I do think its bad tho that all the candidates will spend from now til the primaries rippign each other apart even tho theyre on the same side. With all these people to choose from, it wont be easy and might get messy.

6. Edwards, Vilsak and Dodd have announced. Obama and Richardson have formed committees.
It is anticipated that Clinton will run. I might be forgetting some, but it is still a lot fewer than ended up running in 2004.

7. There can only be ten
as it is my understanding that that is the maximum number of options DU polls can have.

At this point

Vilsack
Edwards
Dodd
Biden
Obama
Richardson
Gravel
Kucinich

That leaves only room for two more out of HRC, Clark, Gore, and Kerry.

11. HA--good point!
How often does an exploratory committee come back with a negative verdict though? If that happens, a space or two might be open again.

12. Why Don't We Just All Write In Gore
Wouldn't it be great to see it handed to him without even running?

13. I don't know who you refer to as tired old senators, but Kerry isn't among them.
As for Richardson, he has Clinton baggage even though he does have foreign policy experience. He is definitely DLC and my pet peeve, he refused to allow a recount of the votes in 2004 in New Mexico, even though there were issues their and the evidence gathered ay have help in the investigations in Ohio. I consider him an opportunist of the first order. I don't think he would mae an exceptional President.
