Regarding Obama and his "experience"...
All I have been hearing from right wingers and freepers is that Obama doesn't have the experience necessary to be President.

Uhm...am I missing something here?

Little Lord Pissypants didn't have the experience to be a fry cook at McDonald's, much less the pResident of the United States. Are these people that ignorant that they can't look towards themselves and their political party and realize that they helped put an imbecile like junior in office? Can they not see that they elected one of the least qualified people in the country to be our leader?? WTF is wrong with these people??!

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad...

1. That 'experience' thing only applies to the other party ...
... in Freeptard logic.

3. If you look at how much experience alot of Presidents have had, Obama is on target
Quite a few of our Presidents did not have alot of experience. but, experience is relative. YOu can have someone with experience and zero common sense.
FDR was thought to be a pleasant lightweight and he fooled them all. Plus he surround himself with the Brain Trust.
And, of course, there is the matter of our other president from Illinois....

5. My answer to the "experience" argument - W now is the second most experienced
person in the country at being president.

And he STILL sucks and, if he were to run for president again today, my dog's chew toy could beat him.

Bush may not have had much experience when he first ran, but he has plenty of so-called experience now. Obviously, there's more to being a good president than a resume.

7. Unless you've been president, every other type of "experience" is merely a predictor
of success - and not always an accurate one.

I believe that much more important than categorical "experience" are qualities that a person brings to any job and would bring to the presidency.

George W. Bush has 6 years of on-the-job experience as president - making him the second most experienced person on earth at being president - yet he is absolutely horrible. He could be president for another 20 years and would STILL be terrible. Not because he lacks the requisite experience - he has that in spades - but because he lacks the qualities that a good president should have.

That is why I'm not all that worked up about whether Obama or Edwards or anyone else has the right kind of "experience" to be president. Yes, I think that previous jobs are relevant, but I don't assume that only certain kinds of experience qualify one to be president. I look at not only what they've done in the past, but what they brought to it, what they took from it and what qualities they possess that would make them a successful president.

10. Lincoln did a bang up job....
And Obama has exactly the same "experience" as Lincoln did prior to being elected President....2 years in Congress and same time in the Illinois legislature to boot.

Not that Obama is Lincoln...but you gotta admit, experience is NOT the only, or even the largest, determination of who would be a good president.

This seems to be turning into a "meme".

13. Osama Hussein, whoever he is, may be just as bad. But we're talking about Sen. Barack Obama

Your insistence on distorting Senator Obama's name this way is not only petty and childish, it raises questions about your overall motivations.

But at least you're transparent enough to show your true colors, which gives everyone else a clear indication of how much credence to give to anything else you may write.

14. My motivtions should be perfectly clear as I already explained them to you at length IIRC.
If it's OK for Dems to berate Hillary, it should be equally OK for Dems to berate Osama. When the primary winner is determined, it will surely be a different story but until then, all is fair.

15. Well, I guess you're showing US!
"Oh-SAH-ma!!! Oh-SAH-ma!!! Nah Nah Nah!!!"

If she knew you existed, Sen. Clinton would surely be SO proud of the impression you're making on her behalf.

12. We've been saying for years that Cheney has been the puppetmaster
in control of Bush almost from the beginning. And Cheney has had a LOT of experience at a national level. Where has that gotten us? Experience doesn't equate with an ability to lead.
