Nancy Pelosi-Dependable
This morning Diane Swayer asked Nancy Pelosi how she would describe herself after the first 100 hours of the new Democratic Congress. Pelosi described herself as accountable. I would describe Pelosi as dependable. In the first 100 hours of the new Congress Pelosi has lead the Democrats to do things that Bush did not do in six years as a president.

I really think Pelosi should try to run for President. I realize that is mainly a pipe dream, but I think she could attract more people than currently thought. She has proven that she can get the job done. In addition, she seems to have great ideas.

2. She has a really big obstacle to overcome in her new-found attitude towards Iraq
She just isn't talking tough about Iraq and George W. Bush anymore. She won't cut off funding to starve the beast, and now there's a chance she won't even cut off funding for the surge.

This could go very, very badly for Pelosi.

3. I care about results - not about attitude
If U.S. combat forces are still in Iraq in November 2008, the Democrats, as well as Bush and the GOP, will be held accountable by the American people.

Democratic base to Pelosi: Just pull the plug, and get the troops home.
