Yesterday, Reps. Lynn Woolsey, Barbara Lee and Maxine Waters introduced H.R. 508: The Bring the Troops Home and Iraq Sovereignty Restoration Act, taking up the President’s challenge to come up with a plan for Iraq. Thirteen additional members have already signed on as co-sponsors. The bill would bring our troops home in six months.

It’s up to PDA activists to spread the word – to friends, relatives, co-workers, other activists…and to media of every type, including independent blogs and websites. H. R 508 is a concrete plan – not just a symbolic, non-binding resolution – that progressives and Democrats can rally around.

Let YOUR woodenhead know how much support for his/her position is EBBING AWAY. The bad guys need to know how much the deck is increasingly stacked AGAINST them. How they're on the LOSING end, more and more and more and more. Nothing like reminding them they have a nice, sharp sword hanging over their heads, hanging by threads that are unraveling one-by-one. You'll soon see how long they decide they "have to" support "our president." ESPECIALLY in Congress, where they have to face the voters again in two years. When there's already talk that the republi-CONS face an even greater debacle in '08 than they even saw last November. These are all VERY good reminders to shove in your woodenhead's face. Smarmy normy coleman is teetering on the brink (as is Gordon Smith) - both of whom face the voters in '08. You think THEY'RE not noticing, AND reading, the writing on the wall?
