5. That will take a long time — they have to have investigations first.
Those are starting now.

8. It will not take that long.

According to the Washington Post watergate time line it was about 12 days from articles of impeachment to resignation for Nixon. There is plenty out there now for the articles of impeachment. Somebody just has to file them and get them out of committee.

July 27, 1974
House Judiciary Committee passes the first of three articles of impeachment, charging obstruction of justice.

August 8, 1974

Richard Nixon becomes the first U.S. president to resign. Vice President Gerald R. Ford assumes the country's highest office. He will later pardon Nixon of all charges related to the Watergate case.

What took so long was getting the obstruction of justice charge to stick. Once that was proven Nixon was toast. We can already prove that Bush broke the FISA laws and many other.

10. If his party hadn't asked him to resign, it would have taken a much longer
time. Do you think the GOP is ready to ask Bush to resign?

3. I asked about the same ? on GD board

wheres the response from our Leaders?
Bush is showing his ass and trying to say Congress has NO say in what he does...and he has funds to go spend on this surge.........so.....must mean "they" his it somewhere..right?

Then they claim that Congress will HAVE to fund additional troops because the People will demand it........

Okay.I know its a "holiday" and all.............but someone in the Democratic Party has to come out and Speak NOW............

We the people did speak with our vote.............wheres our leaders???????

6. When serial killers threaten our neighborhoods
we try to stop them. Bush is a serial killer who is threatening the world, and we just wait and watch him. HOW can the members of Congress let him keep murdering people? If WE can see the need to remove him NOW, why can't they?

7. What Soldiers Dying - heard of any since the Bush speech?
Am I missing something? I have heard of no deaths, other than the suicide of one of our troops since "the speech."

Anyone else? I hope it's so, but a media blackout on this would be a shame and another lie by omission.

11. Thanks for the link...
To clarify, what I was asking was if anyone had heard of any deaths on MSM.

It seems to me there has been a blackout.

13. Sorry ...
I will read all posts more carefully in the future. I didn't see it "linked" so I thought it was a stand alone comment. :(

Possibly many more. Political posturing is more important to a politician.
