Chuck Hagel plastered Holy Joe on Meet the Press this morning and it's about time somebody called him on his garbage.

They have Joe labeled D/I CT

4. Joe's blather about suicide bombers is very telling
since most of the death and destruction in Iraq is being caused by IEDs, RPGs, and other devices detonated remotely. Suicide bombers are generally elsewhere.

Holy Joe is serving the wrong country. He has no place in our country's government.

10. FNS
And Juan Williams for once gave it back to Brit Hume and Bill Kristol. He argued with everything they said and when Juan asked for the real reason Bush attacked Iraq they never did answer and it was obvious they couldn't. BKristol finally started talking about WWII in 1944. Made no sense.

12. I Enjoyed That! What I REALLY Want To Know Is...
WHY the hell Is this ass-hole Joe kissing the other ass-hole so much!! Even BEFORE he got re-elected he was kissing in others ways too!

What's the whole thing about. If anyone who didn't know any difference was tuning in, they would think pissy pants was repuke! I keep thinking I'm going to hear the defection any day now!

What a sorry excuse he's become, and to think I once thought so much better of him! I don't know what it is that made him turn out like this, but I know for sure I DON'T like it one bit! Makes my skin crawl to think he's so in bed with The Idiot & The Dick!!!

Hagel: "We need to get out of this bog of tactical thinking."

I made a connection there with what Clark has been saying...it's not a tactical problem that can be solved with tactical, military changes...it's a STRATEGIC, political problem that involves the entire region and we have to ENGAGE the entire REGION diplomatically.

I have never been so pissed off and offended by the remarks anyone, Bush included. Lieberman has no respect for those of other viewpoints, and even less respect for facts that don't fit into his neo-con framework of the world. I am offended, and I want him OUT OF OUR PARTY NOW!

P.S. - I have never been one to advocate kicking Lieberman out of the Party, and I know that may be unrealistic and we "need" him, etc., but this level of utter disrespect for collegues who disagree with him, claims that we are fighting the same people who attacked us on 9/11, and that anyone who disagrees with the bullshit he is spewing is advocating defeat, is just too much.

He belongs in neither the senate nor the Democratic Party, and I am certain if the election were held today he would be soundly defeated by all thinking people in Connecticut.

17. I believe Chuck Hagel is as well ...
He undoubtedly had a significant hand in getting these unelected thugs in office. Maybe he feels an ounce of remorse. Somehow I find that hard to believe.

"If You Want To Win An Election, Just Control The Voting Machines"

The respected Washington, DC publication The Hill (www.thehill.com/news/012903/hagel.aspx) has confirmed that former conservative radio talk-show host and now Republican U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel was the head of, and continues to own part interest in, the company that owns the company that installed, programmed, and largely ran the voting machines that were used by most of the citizens of Nebraska.

Back when Hagel first ran there for the U.S. Senate in 1996, his company's computer-controlled voting machines showed he'd won stunning upsets in both the primaries and the general election. The Washington Post (1/13/1997) said Hagel's "Senate victory against an incumbent Democratic governor was the major Republican upset in the November election." According to Bev Harris of www.blackboxvoting.org, Hagel won virtually every demographic group, including many largely Black communities that had never before voted Republican. Hagel was the first Republican in 24 years to win a Senate seat in Nebraska.

Six years later Hagel ran again, this time against Democrat Charlie Matulka in 2002, and won in a landslide. As his hagel.senate.gov website says, Hagel "was re-elected to his second term in the United States Senate on November 5, 2002 with 83% of the vote. That represents the biggest political victory in the history of Nebraska."

What Hagel's website fails to disclose is that about 80 percent of those votes were counted by computer-controlled voting machines put in place by the company affiliated with Hagel. Built by that company. Programmed by that company.

"This is a big story, bigger than Watergate ever was," said Hagel's Democratic opponent in the 2002 Senate race, Charlie Matulka (www.lancastercountydemocrats.org/matulka.htm). "They say Hagel shocked the world, but he didn't shock me."
