The FReepers continue to be duh-lusional about Bush and the Iraq War...
Just a few comments that blew my mind in Freeperville tonight:

"Even if all of those troops were killed (God forbid!!), there would still be 10,000 fewer American deaths in Iraq in 4 years, than in there were in Korea in 4 years."

"The anti-war crowd has been wrong, WRONG, WRONG about everything since the day we started bombing the Taliban. Why should they be listened to now?"

"If Bush would just scrap the existing rules of engagement, we wouldn't need to send in additional troops."

"''While lacking the force of law, the measures would compel Republicans to go on record as either bucking the president or supporting an escalation. Several Republicans appear ready to support the Democrats' measure.'

I want names. Which Republicans?"

and my personal fav...

"I've mentioned the Vietnam analogy before. As to "anti-war passions" tell the nincompoop reporter to get back to us when 500,000 antiwar protestors take over Washington DC, as they did when Nixon invaded Cambodia.

That was passion and BTW Nixon followed HIS policy anyway."

That's a challenge worth taking up. Fire up the anti-war machines, y'all!

1. So... we've been wrong, WRONG, WRONG, huh? Tell me how.
That would make one delusional read, right there, ladies and gentlemen and visiting freepers.

2. Not simply 'out of touch with' reality, but DELIBERATELY OPPOSED to it.

3. Well sure!
I mean..there were all those WMD we got to just in time.(I heard there was one already on the launch pad with a metch all lit).

Then of course, we rooted out all of them thar terraists that was sneering and ligtin' that match to send the WMD right to YOUR BACK YARD!!!

We had a little bit of a hard time, acourse, 'cause we hadda stop and pick up all the flowers of the ground cause the soldiers might trip on 'em, but other than that, the only reason we gotta send in more now is 'cause ...um ....well, 'cause all of us libruls just kept undermining the troops so much, that they just couldn't do anything they neede to do, like torturing the truth outta the enemy.

When are we gonna just stand up and admit it? WE WERE WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

:sarcasm:

AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

4. Well, then the line has been drawn...
We need to get 5000,000+ "antiwar protesters to take over Washington DC, as they did when Nixon invaded Cambodia".

I'm in, let's do it!
