How could he claim victory in Afghanistan?
am i the only one that heard the lying sack of shit claim victory over al qaeda in afghanistan? um, excuse me, but last time i looked Us special forces and NAto forces led by the brits were engaged in pretty some pretty hairy combat w/ al-q and the taliban in afghainistan and the taliban was in control of a large amount of the country. opium production is as high as it's ever been to pay for it all. not to mention the fact there's still some bearded dude with kidney troubles somewhere in them thar hills. if that's victory, i'm glad we din't lose!

1. You're not the only one. Even Bill Frist last fall acknowledged the
resurgence of the Taliban.

3. If OBL is still alive no victory...
Why are they so obsessed with Victory...it's like a child that doesn't understand winning isn't the end all to everything...

And opium is flowing into the US more than ever...

4. Bush is at fault for letting Pakistan give safe haven to Al-Qaeda in
Waziristan, including Osama. Musharraf is playing Bush like
a violin, extracting foreign aid by turning in a few token
Al-Qaeda operatives while the real leaders such as Osama and
Jawahiri are protected in Pakistani territory. American forces
are forbidden to chase the terrorists into Pakistan.

5. Oh I heard it
Most psycho statement he made, and that's saying a lot because most of the speech was complete insanity. We have to stop these people from inflaming this Iranian talk, or the next thing you know, the warmongers will insist we have to attack Iran to bring peace to Iraq.

8. I will agree when I see Taliban occupying govt buildings in Kabul
until that happens, they are simply insurgents.

9. Kabul is about the only part of afghanistan they don't control, but they
walk, shop and R&R there with impunity.
