Asked if Congress needs to step up and stop Bush: It's "our" responsibility to do so, soldiers are losing their lives.

None of these, even the reconstruction, make sense without the political solution.

JK didn't get much time but it was pretty clear, as noted downthread, that he is utterly disgusted with the total failure of the * admin to approach this debacle with anything remotely resembling common sense.

I mean - @$%$#$)%^&$%#@+!@!!! - how long have people like Kerry been telling him the sensible thing to do? Then the BIPARTISAN - Baker and Hamilton - Iraq Study Group comes out and basically says, yeah, ya gotta do some diplomacy and get the regional leaders together, and so forth - and * just blows them off and does something totally futile except that it will lose even more lives.

Yep, hard to blame JK for being disgusted.
