More Repukes Plead Guilty......Montana


Davison pleads guilty to federal charges


Patrick P. Davison, who ran for governor of Montana two years ago, pleaded guilty today to two federal charges that accuse him of using the U.S. Postal Service to defraud investor clients.

The former financial adviser for UBS Financial Services in Billings was charged with two counts of securities fraud in a scheme to defraud investors of approximately $4.8 million. Federal documents charging Davison were unsealed this morning.


In 2004, he ran an unsuccessful race for governor, losing in contentious four-way Republican primary. That was his first bid for public office.
