Beware the Whistling Esses
This is not specifically about Il Dunce's morning presser, curretnly playing at a teevee station near you. What it *is* about is a sure sign that the fuckwad's either lying or talking out his ass.

WhenEVER you hear him whistle his esses, sometimes even adding esses where none exist in the English language, you can bet the farm that whatever he's talking about is untrue.

6. He's always had trouble with sibilants
and I'm sure he's whistling them because he's been coached to shtop shlurring them.

Dysarthria (slurred speech) is one of the hallmarks of alcoholic brain disease.

Absolutely.. And on top of his attempts to sound all Texan and "good ole boy" it equates to someone trying to speak with virtually no teeth, a partially paralyzed tongue and a mouthfull of mush..

I grind my teeth down everytime he comes on... It is just horrendous.

9. At least you can still watch
I'm glad my satellite dish has been knocked out of alignment, it's a perfect day NOT to watch TV because the little bastard will be all over it.

If he shows up on the screen, I have to change it fast. My foot will be through it otherwise and I can't really afford a new set.

10. Denver's getting a blizzard today - tomorrow.. so I may not
be watching long. ( up to 2 feet predicted for some parts of metro Denver and I work way out in the foothills). I'd rather watch the snow than Bush* any day though AND I may just have to get that work report done--by hand!

11. We got over 6 inches here in the Rio Grande Valley
and it's still snowing. The whole area is pretty much shut down.

Now, why did I leave Boston? I'm trying to remember.

14. Ahh, didn't know you were down in Rio Grande Valley..
Big dumper wet snows are easier to deal with in CO, if you ask me... They don't hang around very long and we could be back sitting outside in the sunshine drinking a beer by later in the week.

Boston and the East Coast are great, but I'll take the snows of Colorado, I think...

13. Great observation! I agree entirely
It is an affectation that tips you off that he is lying - more than usual.
