Stuck on stupid
Looks like our dumb president won't stop until there's a flag-draped coffin for every military family:
It turns out you only have to attend a White House Christmas party to find out where President Bush is headed on Iraq. One guest who shook hands with Bush in the receiving line told him, "Don't let the bastards get you down." Bush, slightly startled but cheerful, replied, "Don't worry. I'm not." The guest followed up: "I think we can win in Iraq." The president's reply was emphatic: "We're going to win." Another guest informed Bush he'd given some advice to the Iraq Study Group, and said its report should be ignored. The president chuckled and said he'd made his position clear when he appeared with British prime minister Tony Blair. The report had never mentioned the possibility of American victory. Bush's goal in Iraq, he said at the photo-op with Blair, is "victory."
What's sad is that he likely wasn't talking to a mirror.

1. One more step towards Apocalypse!
The end is near. Hooray!

Bush is on a mission from God and no one, not even Barney, will stop him. Especially not you! The general public is too stupid to know what's good for them.

Now, the real problem is that the little voice in Bush's head telling him to go to war and destroy the world is not God's. Anyone that thinks this is God's will is being deceived by the great deciever.

Unfortunately, those in power have been corrupted beyond redemtion. It just might be too late.

2. Not sure if Satan is to blame (if that's what you're implying)...
Apparently there's a form of epilepsy that makes you think you're receiving visions from God. Some argue that people like Moses, Jesus and Mohammed had it, and maybe that's a little 'out there', but it certainly would explain Georgie's actions.

3. I think he's still trying to be a man in the eyes of his father.
He's failed at everything he's done in life. His father has had to repeatedly bail him out of his messes.

For Dubya to admit defeat in Iraq would be to, yet again, admit his failure as a man.

He'll never do it.
