Anyone know the status of the 08 election for Senate?
Of course there are 33 seats up for grabs. Does anyone know how many of the seats are currently Repuke and of those which ones are in danger for their party? Also, any Dem seats considered in danger?

I guess what I am wanting to know is if Johnson were to lose his seat (God forbid) would we have a chance at retaking the Senate in 08? Not trying to be too negative here, just thinking strategically and wondering.

1. I'm not sure of the breakdown, but there are definitely more Repugs up.....
and the Dem-held seats look pretty safe.

2. 21 Republicans are up
And there are good chances for Democrats to gain quite a few seats, enough to retain the Senate.
