My cell phone beeped, got the attention of the guy ahead of me in line.
I pointed out that it was me.
Got into a conversation with him. Various subjects ... one key was that we agreed that there's thicker security glass between some customers and cashiers at a gas station than probably at some jails for visitation ...
He made the remark that prisoners get better rights ...
I pointed out that a lot of people want conservative judges, until they have to appear before them ... he agreed, but said "gives an incentive not to break the law, eh?"
I said something to the effect, "Well, that didn't stop the last batch of politicians, did it?"
He said "Well, they disappointed me ..."
Conversation dropped as he was called as next in line.
I finished before him, and went out to my vehicle. Noticed the car parked beside mine had various bumper stickers ... and a "worn-off" (or badly attempted to remove?) "Liberalism is a mental disorder" set of letters (didn't look like a real bumper sticker ... looked like someone took the time to buy and apply the individual letters) ...
As I was pulling out of my parking space, I saw the same guy getting into that car ... I bet he held his nose and voted DeWine and Blackwell anyway ...
