Obama/Richardson 08
How about this for a ticket - Obama/Richardson? Both of them are great speakers. They both represent what makes America great. Plus Obama would solidify the African-American vote, and Richardson would bring in the Latino vote. Then put Edwards as the potential Attorney General nominee, and Wesley Clark as the potential Sec. of Defense nominee. This as a total package would be awesome!!

1. It is a long way to the primaries yet
You have as good a ticket perhaps as anyone and the process will sort out the details for us all. I have heard Obama speak and he is wonderful, Richardson is likewise interesting to me. Whoever the Dems put up as a candidate will get my vote in 08, but that is a forgone conclusion.

2. does naming people on your cabinet early help?
I know it's a long way off, but I think we should get going on this as soon as possible.

By the way, do you think by naming the cabinet that helps a candidate or hurts him? I think it helps because then you have those people who are out there talking with the people trying to gain their support.

3. Well since
a couple of the names you mentioned (and other possibilities) are also probably going to run in the primaries, I would think not just yet (but that's my opinion). After the conventions, perhaps. Don't know as I don't think it has ever been done.

4. That would work for me
But it is too soon because I think there are a lot of good candidates out there that need to be considered
And I would like to see Kucinich or Nader as Attorney General that would be fun.But Richards and Obama both sound good as VP on any ticket.
