1. who knew? i thought everyone did! he's one of the main
reasons that the whole moral majority thing got headway, because they held norman up as a firebreathing liberal jew that controlled hollywood and look at how he was making fun of you with characters like archie bunker. he took a lot of heat back in the day, and he was one class act.

2. He founded PFAW specifically to counter the religious right.
The term "moral majority" was coined by Paul Wyrich and given to Falwell to use. You can see Paul and and an old PFAW fundraiser in some videos here www.theocracywatch.org
