Earlier I wrote about another Miami effort at Bayfront. I think this is another one. There are pictures and a video at this link about it...a DFA effort combined with a peace group, I think. You Tube is down for maintenance right now, but be sure to view the video.

Cardboard Tombstones Call Attention To Iraq War

"Thousands of white cardboard tombstones with names of soldiers killed in Iraq now decorate Lummus Park in Miami Beach.

The memorial called "Arlington South" is meant to spread a message this Veteran's Day.

"I'm just quite shocked at the average age," one passerby said.
Feldman, who is with the anti-war organization Democracy For America, said he doesn't believe the political message of Arlington South will overshadow the Veteran's Day message.

"We consciously tried not to do that. We consciously tried to do this respectfully," he said."
