Wes Clark welcomes Grandson (born Christmas night)
Here's some good, happy news. Welcome Little Baby Boy Wes into the world! :-)

http://www.clark04.com/story/54/

Excerpt:

Wes Clark received the Christmas surprise of a lifetime, his first grandchild, a baby boy. Baby Wes was not due until January. He was born at 5:20 on Christmas night to Wesley Clark Jr. and his wife, Astrid. He weighed 6 lb. 15 oz. and is 22 inches long.

Proud father, Wes, said, "He's beautiful. He's got a head full of dark hair. Astrid and the baby are doing well."

"This was the Christmas gift of a lifetime," said proud grandfather, Wesley K. Clark. "We couldn't be prouder or happier. We thank all our friends around the country for their prayers and good wishes during Astrid's pregnancy. Gert and I are thrilled and grateful for this healthy little boy."

Baby Wes, can you say "My grandpop is going to be elected president before my first birthday?"

6. Wonderful News!
I was wondering if she was getting near that time... she looked so big in that American Son film. Very glad to hear that the baby is healthy and both mother and baby are doing well.

20. Well, that was incredible timing
Howard Dean just found Jesus on Christmas;
Wesley Clark found his own baby boy grandson.
:)

Kidding!!
I don't think Dean said anything out of line,
for the record.

Congrats to the whole Wes Wing.

28. Obviously a political ploy to distract from Dean's resurgent Christianity.
Come on. Christmas Eve? Are they going to call the kid Jesus?

Isn't it bad enough that Clark's own lifestory tracks Moses?

(just joking folks. Just joking. Now that Clark is a granddad I have a reason to envy him. Best wishes to the parents and the newest member of the Clark clan.)
