After watching FL Governors debate, I feel bad for the voters
Perhaps I am looking at this as if I were a voter in that state or if those candidates were running here. After watching that debate I can't help but think the voters have the crappiest choice of candidates.

On the question of the paper trail why didn't the Dem candidate say that he will proposes legislation to send anyone to jail who uses it to buy votes from voters. Same can be said of any employer looking to use it to force their employees to vote for the candidate of his/her choice.

Granted hind site is always 20/20 and I'm not up there taking these questions. I often find myself looking back on situations wishing I had said something I didn't.

On the issue of gay marriage it doesn't look all that good. The country is not ready for gay marriage? Who are these folks to deny someone equal rights because someone else is not "ready for it".

Even the independent candidate offers very little difference from the Republican and the Democrat. Whatever that guys name is (can't recall right now), he fucking nuts. For a guy claiming to be the "real conservative" in the election he sure doesnt shy away from using the Neo Con talking points to describe democratic oponents. Third party candidates fair better and offer more to the debate when the rebel against the extablishment. When they utelize their tools (Neo Con fundy talking points) they come off looking like dickheads.

The third party candidates in MA seem to operate very differently than that loon. At least they are offering something to the debate and hemming in the uglyness to keep things focused on the issues. Grace Ross had an intervention with Kerry Healy to her to knock off the bullshit for three reasons;

1) Her attacks were not furthering the debate.
2) Healy's attacks were becoming fascist in nature and an attack on the democratic process ie attacking Patrik for being a lawyer.
3) Healy is down 25 points and the uglyness was turning voters off.

Perhaps that's the one thing that I enjoy about this election in MA. Once the candidates decided to quash the ugliness we've had an intesting discussion. I doubt Healy will ever decide to run again but her tactics have cost her her inegrity.
