3. BEST. DOONESBURY. EVER.

I think people in this country will still be looking at this one 50 years from now. Whether said people are looking at it openly in a republican form of democracy, or secretively in a fascist police state, is a question I'm not willing to bet on at this point......

5. "That's a debate I'm willing to have." = BRING IT ON !
A very hard direct challenge cloaked in deceptively diplomatic language, straight from the old iron-fist-in-velvet-glove school of rhetoric. Good job by Trudeau, wish our own honorable opposition would score more points like that (kudos to those that do).

Thank you, Garry Trudeau. You've never been better, and that's saying something.

It looks like the senate might be out of reach, but the house should fall if rove hasn't somehow sinched this already.

To my comrades in florida, get the hell out now and vote for Jim Davis, Charlie Crist is going to wreck this state and if he gets a chance, run for president. Stop his ladder climbing now. Davis is an honest to goodness progressive with some ideas that will set the state back on track (like taking away that gift to the wealthy, the intangibles tax cut.)

Be Vigilant.

13. But Haven't The Brave Congressional Dems Said Exactly That???
While the rest of America has been sleeping, the Brave Congressional Dems have been at the forefront of confronting the Rethug Royalists, and slaying them with The Truth. I'm just proud that I'll be able to tell my grandchildren that I was alive to see Clinton, Reid, Schumer, and the rest in action.
