I'm a fan of painted pinups--Vargas, too, even though the one I'm using right not by him, but by Gil Elvgren. I think the best ones are as artful as the Venus DeMilo, and I've received several PMs thanking me for including them. What my use of it has to do with my objecting to putting someone down simply because of their appearance, I have no idea, frankly.
