email from Francine Busby --- Absentee Ballot Problems (gee who would have guessed
Full email follows:

Dear WakeMe2008 :) ,

Many people have reported delays in receiving their absentee ballots. The Registrar of Voters suggests that if you have not received your ballot by Monday, Oct. 23rd (TODAY), you should call the Registrar's office to request a duplicate ballot.

The Registrar of Voters phone number is: 858-565-5800

I want to caution you to vote only once, in case your original ballot is mailed to you after receiving a replacement.

Also, if your ballot is delayed, please send us an e-mail with the subject: "Absentee Ballots," so we can follow up.

If everybody who says they will vote for me does, we will win this election, take back the House and change the course of America. Please remember that ballots must be received on or before Election Day (no post marks!). The sooner you send in your ballot, the closer we come to taking back America.
