Conman Burns has trotted out former Montana Governor Marc "sellout" Racicot (pronounced "ROSS-ko") for a new ad using a lot of targeted words about "outsiders" and "values." The former moderate, but current Bush ass-kisser tells us to trust him, Burns is a good man, really. Nevermind that Racicot lies about working with Burns (memo to Racicot: working in the same state at the same time doesn't mean you "work together"). Nevermind that almost
all the negativity of the campaign comes from Burns' mouth. Racicot says, "Conrad shares our values. So, when outside groups -- with different values – try to tell you what to think – think twice." There are exactly two outside groups he could be talking about: Vote Vets and the DSCC. What Racicot fails to mention is that while it's true, you should think critically about campaign ads, there is simply nothing untrue about any ad aired by either group.
Click here to see that ad if you really mustThis ad, on the other hand, is for Jon Tester and paid for by the DSCC. It's silly, and could probably be made in flash in under 20 minutes, but it's so unlike any other ad I've seen and cracks me up every time I watch it. And it's all true. Which must drive Burns crazy.
Best! Ad! Ever!I love that every time Abramoff is put in an ad, he's in that hat and trench-coat.
