Tell the media to stop running false attack ads against Sherrod Brown

Many of you have seen the attack ad accusing Sherrod Brown of failing to pay unemployment taxes for 13 years. The charge in the ad is blatantly false, and the TV stations airing it know that. Click below to see the documentation.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has declined to pull the ad. On Thursday, October 19, TV stations will be formally contacted and asked to stop running the ads since they are false. But the stations also need to hear from their viewers that these ads are unacceptable.

Please do two things:
1) call the local stations on Thursday morning, October 19;
2) email your friends and ask them to do the same.

The message from viewers is:
“Your station is airing an attack ad against Sherrod Brown by the RNC and Mike DeWine. The ad has been proven to be false. It is misleading, deceptive, and slanderous. I’m demanding you take it off the air today.”
