Only 38% in TIME poll now support President Bush's decision to invade Iraq

Iraq is continuing to be a problem for the Republicans. Only 38% of respondents in the TIME poll now support President Bush's decision to invade Iraq, down from 42% three months ago.

Almost two-thirds (65%) of respondents disapprove of President Bush's handling of the war, while 54% believe he "deliberately misled" Americans in making his case for war.

who believe we were deliberately misled. No matter how much you oppose the war or think things are going badly, one could always argue--and the Rovian spin-meisters certainly have been--that poor ol' Dubya was himself misled by bad information and intellegence. The fact that over half of Americans aren't falling for their bullshit is very hopeful indeed. This 54% don't just oppose the war, they're blaming B*sh for the mess.
