BBC US correspondent blogs: "This sex stuff is a trap for the Democrats"
"...a conversation with a former staffer in the Clinton White House who added these prophetic words: "Never underestimate our ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory."

Rest here.

It's a blog, so comment away.

4. Oh, Bullshit! Rove ruled because the Economy was good ..
Despite Wall Street, the average American is suffering with loss of employment or lack of increase in wages. All that "smoke and mirrors" and "smear campaigns" only works when people are not HURTING economically.

Now that many Americans are struggling to basically survive, Rove and Drudge can throw all the mud they wish. It's falling on deaf ears.

It's not only the hypocrisy but it's back to "basic living standards" for the non-investor class.

Unfortunately, both Wall Street and the Corporate Washington Elites have not embraced the disgust of the working and middle class Americans. :(

The Democrats will win in November but we also must "vote out" the corporate enablers in their next primaries IF we wish for our Democratic Congress to Serve The People before corporate interests.

5. They said on the news that the staffer in question is on the outs w/the...
Clintons and that's why he's coming up with this crap.

It was on the news several times today --- both tv and radio.

They weren't taking him seriously at all...

6. Could be. Just look at the Media Industrial Complex gorging our t.v's
with this isolated story about just one Congressman -conveniently a gay man with all of a sudden all these pages coming to accuse him. An interesting question would be just WHO are these pages outing?

How do we know the media is telling us the truth on who the pages are reporting on.

Answer: we don't.

If a story looks too easy, too one dimensional, or just good to be true, it is.

For anyone to believe the media at this stage in the game would qualify as a certified moron.

If they haven't learned by this point who owns our media, then they never will.

Something to keep in mind: whatever hand the Media Industrial Complex is waving at you, ignore it and look for the other one behind the back. THAT'S the one to watch.

Not what they are showing you and WANT you to see. Look at what they DON'T want you to see.

THAT'S where the truth is.

7. Here's the comment I posted:
"Bollocks. The Democrats may be no great shakes, but the current crop of Republicans are so repulsive that not even Bob Shrum could screw this one up. As long as they stay on the offensive and keep the Republicans on the defensive, they've got this one in the bag."
