Here are my questions to Woodward, Isikoff and the other Johnny-Come-Lately-Bush-Lied-Who-Could-Have-Knowns in the MSM press corps. Millions of people marched in the streets to protest this war. They knew the truth. Why didn't you?
Kofi Annan told the United Nations that Bush was cooperating with the inspection team? Why did you hush that up? Vanity Fair outed the Bush lies in print in Spring 2004. Why didn't you report on their story? The Downing Street Memos told the truth. Why didn't you print them on the front pages of your newspapers and magazines? Cindy Sheehan confronted Bush on the ranch. Why didn't you tell her she was wonderful?
And most important, why are you telling the truth now? Why couldn't you have investigated these facts and told them when it could have saved lives and maybe the whole country? Why couldn't you have bared Colin Powell's lies in 2003? or maybe if that was too early, in 2004? What's your game? If my children knew before the war that Bush was lying, why didn't you?
Hypocrites, fools, cynics -- all of you. I'm not buying Woodward's book now -- not even at the bargain table Costco rate of $17.50. It's too late, too little.
